I am a postdoctoral research fellow in the Department of Mathematics, Rhodes University, Makhanda (Grahamstown), South Africa. My research interests lie in the design and implementation of numerical method, computational fluid dynamics, mathematical modelling of dynamical systems, fractional calculus and machine learning.

Before joining Rhodes University, I obtained my Doctoral degree from Nelson Mandela University, Port-Elizabeth, South Africa in 2023. My PhD research focused on developing and implementing a structure-preserving numerical scheme for the advection-diffusion-reaction equations. I developed a non-standard finite difference scheme for the preservation of a biofilm mathematical model, designed an accurate scheme for the Burgers-Huxley equation and singularly perturbed equations. Analysis such as travelling waves were numerically investigated.

I obtained my Master of Science (MSc) degree from Obafemi Awolowo University, Nigeria in 2018. I developed a mathematical model for simulating fluid flow in a rotating medium. I used the Laplace Transform method to obtain analytical solution, and as a means of benchmarking the numerical method. The finite difference technique, a numerical method, was applied using the Maple computing platform in cases where obtaining a closed-form solution is not feasible.

I completed my Bachelor (Honours) degree in Mathematics at Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria, in 2013. My Honours thesis is titled: Simple Mathematical Model for Urban Growth (Based on Economy and Geographical Factors). I completed my mandatory one-year national youth service in Rivers State, Nigeria, from 2014 to 2015, contributing to the development of the nation.
